Public Swimming Pools in Cape Town Where You Can Splash and Play
If you’re planning to cool off this summer, this guide gives you the lowdown on public pools in Cape Town — from opening hours to entry prices.
Public swimming pools in Cape Town feel like summer’s meeting place. Families arrive early, cooler bags packed with sandwiches, chips, watermelon slices, homemade bompies, and folding chairs. The lawns fill up with towels. The water’s cold, the concrete’s warm, and someone’s portable speaker keeps skipping songs. The regulars know the best spots under the trees, where the grass stays cool.
Big Olympic pools, springboard diving spots and splash pools for the kids keep everyone busy while the sun beats down.
