Plot Summary

After spending most of his teenage years in Beaufort West, Justin (Mario Ogle) returns to Cape Town to begin his first year at Rocklands University. His mother moved them to the small town after the sudden death of his father, a musician whose career was beginning to take off. Now faced with life in the city again, Justin leaves his mother and his eccentric group of friends behind and moves in with his uncle (Van Lee Johnson), a marketing professor in his forties who has embraced life as a carefree bachelor. As Justin settles into university life, he meets G (Ernest St Clair), a street-smart young man from the Cape Flats. With G by his side, Justin begins finding his feet in the city, while hoping his new friend can also help him win over the girl he has always dreamed of.
