Plot Summary

On the Cape Flats, Keisha finds freedom behind the decks of the underground Yaadt music scene, a world far removed from the sheltered life her mother expects her to lead. By day, she lives under her mother’s strict eye. By night, she follows in the footsteps of her late father, whose name still carries weight in the local scene. But Keisha’s growing reputation as a DJ takes an unexpected turn when she begins uncovering secrets surrounding her father’s death. What started as a way to escape the restrictions of home becomes a journey into a family history neither she nor her mother is ready to face. As the truth comes to light, mother and daughter must decide whether confronting the past will tear them apart or give them a chance to heal.
