Plot Summary
Ricardo Galam is a 13-year-old growing up in the gritty heart of Cape Town’s Cape Flats. Raised by his grandmother after his father disappeared, he’s caught between two worlds: the promise of a bright future as a chess champion and the pull of the dangerous, violent gang culture that surrounds him. The 26 gang, ruthless and powerful, sees something in Ricardo, and their leader starts grooming him for a role he never asked for. What he doesn’t know is that his father—who’s been locked away for years—is suddenly back on the streets. Farakhan, a reformed general of the 28 gang, returns to the very area where his past is waiting to catch up with him, disrupting the fragile balance between the gangs. *Four Corners* takes us deep into a battle where loyalty and survival are everything. Amid the chaos of a century-long gang war, a boy must decide who he really is—before it’s too late.
