Reginald Hufkie to Star as Pikkie in Vetkoekpaleis 3
Looks like there’s a new Sheridan in town!!!

Filming has wrapped on Vetkoekpaleis 3, and the doors to the country’s most famous vetkoek shop are about to swing open again. Willie Esterhuizen (Wors), Liane Heyl (Boeboe), Lizz Meiring (Mollie), Wynand van Vollenstee (Klein Frikkadel), and Danielle Retief (Boudjies) are bringing their characters back.
But there’s a fresh face in the mix—Reginald Hufkie has joined the cast as Pikkie Moerdyk. If the name sounds familiar, that’s because Pikkie first appeared way back in the ‘90s, played by the late Adrian Alper. Back then, he was a bit of a troublemaker, roped into mischief by his dodgy mechanic boss. Now, Pikkie is back with a new job and a new role to play in the Vetkoekpaleis world.
 
 
Hufkie’s Pikkie is no longer a reckless apprentice—he’s a delivery driver for Takealot, and if there’s any gossip to be shared, you can bet he’ll be the one delivering it straight to the vetkoek counter. Sounds like he’ll be filling the gap left by Sheridan, played by Alvin Bruinders.
Hufkie has been on screens in films like Neelan & Kevin and Som van Twee, as well as the popular series Huis Lelieveld. Stepping into the Vetkoekpaleis universe is a big moment, and it’ll be exciting to see what he brings to the role.
