The commute through Cape Town is usually a test of patience, but a recent viral clip on Jakes Gerwel Drive turned a standard traffic crawl into a scene from a high-stakes action movie.
In the footage, a vehicle sporting Free State plates is seen cruising along the busy stretch with an unexpected passenger attached to the side. A man wearing a bright blue shirt appears to be caught in the passenger window, desperately clinging to the frame as the car maintains its pace. This bizarre sight unfolded in broad daylight as midday traffic began to build up around the Epping area.Â
Instead of slowing down for the alleged thief, the driver continued toward the Langa and Bonteheuwel turn-offs with the man still dangling precariously over the asphalt.
