Plot of the Indemnity Movie
After a traumatic fire rescue ends in tragedy, Theo Abrams (Jarrid Geduld from Die Ellen Pakkies Storie fame) steps away from his job as a firefighter. He’s trying to get his head right, but things only spiral. One morning, he wakes up next to his wife—dead. Murdered. And he’s got no idea how it happened. Worse, the evidence makes it look like he did it.
Now, instead of getting help, Theo’s being hunted by the cops. Leading the charge? Deputy Chief Alan Shard, a stubborn veteran who wants one last arrest before hanging up his badge. Theo runs—but something isn’t adding up.
As he pieces together what his wife was busy with before her death, Theo uncovers a dangerous link to a powerful arms dealer. There’s something big going on. People are watching him. And if he gets too close to the truth, they’ll kill him too.
What started as a desperate escape turns into a fight for answers. Theo has to move fast, stay smart, and figure out why his wife was targeted—because the clock’s ticking, and what she uncovered might be bigger than either of them ever realised.
